Software Engineer | TikTok Jan 2026 – Present
- Built and scaled real-time interactive features for Live Studio, including co-hosting, group livestreams, and player-knockout matches, using Electron, Node.js, and React; increased daily unique viewers by x%, interaction-feature penetration rate by y%, and total revenue from viewer gifts by z%.
- Partnered with product, back-end, and data teams to define, build, and iterate monetization recommendation logic to the creators, delivering actionable live-streaming tips that improved creator revenue outcomes.
- Optimized and unified multiple live match modes into a single framework, lowering the barrier to entry for creators and increasing adoption across live streaming tools.
- Developed an agentic UI testing framework leveraging Chrome DevTools Protocol (CDP), MCP, and custom skill modules to autonomously interact with and validate Electron application workflows, reducing manual QA effort.
- Built an on-call AI bot that automatically triages production incidents, diagnoses root causes using deeply integrated organizational knowledge bases, and generates merge requests with suggested fixes to accelerate engineer resolution times.

- Spearheaded the migration of a risk and performance management application into micro front-end architecture based with module federation, reducing deployment times and enabling independent feature delivery.

- Integrated a multi-tenant API into internal analytics pipeline, enabling monitoring of over newly 300,000 tenant accounts bi-weekly and empowering data-driven business decisions.
- Migrated end-to-end test from Python to Golang, improving test reliability and efficiency by 200%, significantly contributing to team success achieving five nines (99.999%) availability.
- Automated dynamic parameters adjustment for rate-limits, allow-list, etc. of endpoints, ensuring consistent system performance effortlessly.
